Telecommunication is the future of the world. Master of Science in Telecommunications at GCU is producing trained manpower that shall be able to promote advanced telecommunication infrastructure in Pakistan.

Postgraduate Diploma leading to M.Sc. telecommunications is the beautiful blend of computer software, hardware, telecommunications and computer networks.

Prospectus, admission form, instructions and specimen question paper for the entry test for admission to Master of Science in Telecommunications and Postgraduate Diploma leading to M.Sc. Telecommunications is available at UBL Government College University Branch from 20/08/2003 to 27/08/2003. Admission forms must be deposited in the UBL Government College University Branch up to 27/08/2003. Admission will strictly be made according to the rules and regulations given in the university prospectus.

 

Eligibility:

 

M. Sc Programme:

Admission is offered to Male/Female in Morning Session having anyone of the following qualifications:

B.E./ B.Sc. Engg./ B.C.S/ M.C.S/ M.Sc. (Maths, Physics, Statistics, Space Science or Comp. Science)/ PGD in Computer Technology & Communication from GCU Lahore, B.Sc. (With Maths). Candidates must have passed all exams at least with 2nd division. Candidates waiting for their result are eligible to apply for admission.

 

PGD Programme:

Admission is offered to Male/Female in Evening Session having anyone of the following qualifications:

B.E/B.Sc Engg./B.C.S/M.C.S/M.Sc (Math, Phy, Stat, Space Science or Comp. Science/ B.A./B.Sc. or M.A (having studied Math at Intermediate Level). Candidates must have passed all exams at least with 2nd division. Candidates waiting for their result are eligible to apply for admission.

* Top 5 students having passed PGD at least with CGPA 3.0 will be eligible for admission to M.Sc. Telecommunications programme without entry test & interview.

Admission will strictly be based on the score obtained in Entry Test and Interview.

The Form No. mentioned on the Entry Test Slip will be considered as Roll No. of the candidate for test.

 

Note:

1.      The candidates are directed to bring Entry Test Slip and National Identity Card at the time of test otherwise they will not be allowed to sit in the test.

2.      The use of calculator in entry test is strictly prohibited.
