DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMICS Post graduate classes in the Economics Department started in 1964. The Department offers a basic Master's Course and prepares its students for the Master's Degree. The Department has produced some of the nation's finest economists and bureaucrats. The Planning Commission in Islamabad, Planning and Development Department in Lahore mostly comprise students of the Department.
